Rules & Punishments
Know what is expected before joining a world or posting in the community.
Plunder Rules
By playing on Plunder you agree to these rules. Not knowing a rule is not an excuse. Staff decide with context and history; anything not listed that harms the server or other players can still be punished. The latest version on this page always applies.
How it works
- Punishments escalate: each offense moves one step along the ladder shown under the rule.
- Severe offenses start high or go straight to a permanent ban.
- [DQ] marks rules that can also get your faction struck or disqualified from map payouts (1st strike −25% points, 2nd −50%, 3rd disqualified).
- Evading a punishment (alts, VPNs) gets every account involved blacklisted.
- Think a punishment was wrong? Appeal on the website or in our Discord. Don't argue about it in chat.
⚔️ Cheating & Unfair Advantages
Hacked clients / cheats
Any client or mod that gives an advantage: killaura, reach, velocity, fly, speed, scaffold, autoclicker, aim assist, ESP, etc. [DQ]
30d ban → Permanent ban
X-Ray & ore finders
X-ray texture packs, ore ESP, seed cracking or cave finders.
14d ban → 30d ban → Permanent ban
Macros & autoclickers
Macros, double-click / butterfly-click abuse through software, keyboard/mouse macros, or more than 20 CPS from software.
7d ban → 30d ban → Permanent ban
Disallowed mods
Only cosmetic and performance mods are allowed (e.g. Lunar / Badlion features, OptiFine, minimaps without entity radar or cave view, armor/potion HUDs). Anything that shows players, chests or ores through walls is a cheat.
7d ban → 14d ban → 30d ban
Refusing a screenshare / logging while frozen
Logging out, ignoring, or disconnecting while frozen, or refusing to cooperate with a screenshare.
30d ban, treated the same as being caught cheating
Bug abuse & duping
Using glitches, dupes or exploits for an advantage (item / money duplication, phasing, pearl glitches, claim or combat-tag bypasses). Report bugs to staff instead: real exploits can be rewarded.
7d ban → 30d ban → Permanent ban (dupes: wipe of the duped items + 30d ban) [DQ]
Lag machines & crash attempts
Builds or actions made to lag or crash the server or other clients.

🏴 Faction & Gameplay Rules
Faction size & teaming
Teaming above the faction limit (truces, "ally" factions that aren't official allies, sharing a base, letting other factions run your KOTH). Factions may only fight together through official allies within the ally limit.

Alts in factions
Using alts to exceed the member limit, hold claims, or keep a faction from going raidable.

Kill farming / stat padding
Killing alts, friends or willing players to boost kills, points, killstreaks or bounties. Also giving away KOTH captures.
Stats and points removed + strike → 3d ban → 7d ban [DQ]
Ban evasion
Joining on another account while banned, or helping someone do it.
Blacklist on all linked accounts
Insiding
Joining or staying in a faction to betray it: stealing or destroying its loot, leaking its coords or base, letting enemies in, or getting it raided on purpose. Proof (clips / screenshots) is needed, so record when something feels off.
7d ban → 14d ban → 30d ban, and the stolen items are returned where possible [DQ] for the faction the insider worked for
Scamming
In-game scams with in-game items are allowed. Scamming with real money, store purchases, ranks or accounts is not.

Real-world trading
Selling or buying accounts, items, ranks, coins or services for real money or for items on other servers.
14d ban → Permanent ban
Spawn & safezone abuse
Using spawn or safezone mechanics to avoid fights unfairly (e.g. glitching into spawn while combat tagged, trapping players at the spawn border with exploits).
1d ban → 3d ban → 7d ban
Inappropriate builds & claims
Offensive builds, names or banners in claims.
Build removed + 1d ban (faction leader) → 3d ban → Admin discretion
Inappropriate faction name
Offensive, hateful or advertising faction names.
Forced rename → 1d ban (leader) → 3d ban
💬 Chat Rules
Spamming / flooding
The same or similar message 3+ times, repeating characters, or flooding chat.
Warn → 1h mute → 6h mute → 1d mute
Excessive caps
Messages mostly or fully in caps.
Warn → 1h mute → 6h mute
Toxicity & harassment
Targeted insults, bullying, repeated provoking or wishing harm on others. Trash talk is part of HCF; going after someone personally is not.
6h mute → 1d mute → 3d mute → Admin discretion
Discrimination & slurs
Racism, homophobia, sexism or any slur, in chat, names, signs or builds.
3d mute → 7d mute → 30d mute → Permanent mute
Threats, DDoS & doxxing
Threatening to DDoS, dox, swat or harm a player, or sharing anyone's personal information.

Advertising
Advertising other servers, Discords, websites or services.
Permanent mute, IPs and server addresses are a permanent ban
Staff impersonation
Pretending to be staff or abusing a staff name or prefix.
1h mute → 6h mute → 1d mute
Inappropriate links & content
NSFW, gore, IP grabbers or malicious links.
Permanent ban
Inappropriate skin or username
Offensive skins or names. You can be unbanned after changing it.
Ban until changed
🔐 Accounts
Account security
You are responsible for your account and everything done on it. "My brother / friend was on it" does not void a punishment. Never share your account: staff will never ask for your password.
Account sharing
Sharing an account to keep it online, play other people's lives, or bypass deathbans.
1d ban → 7d ban on all accounts involved
Chargebacks
Charging back a store purchase.

Discord chat
The same chat rules apply in our Discord. Keep each channel on topic.
Timeout → Kick → Ban
Voice chat
No earrape, soundboards, voice changers to impersonate, or recording without consent.
Timeout → Voice ban → Ban
Tickets
Open tickets for real issues only, and don't ping staff for updates. Troll tickets are closed and may be punished.
Warn → Ticket ban
Staff have final say. If something feels like an exploit or unfair advantage, ask a staff member before you do it.
